Choose the symptom you see
The page still says “Waiting for your coding agent.”
Copy the complete prompt and paste it into your coding agent. The status changes only after that client makes a LeadCue request; clipboard activity alone cannot confirm a connection.
My Connection expired.
Create a new private Connection from LeadCue. Your old token remains unusable once it is expired or revoked.
Can I switch between coding agents?
Yes. For example, you can switch between Codex and Claude Code. One claimed LeadCue Connection uses the same account, ICP library, saved leads, and progress across supported clients.
Do I need to reinstall when LeadCue changes?
Routine remote MCP changes arrive on the next request. When bundled local tools change, the same Connection prompt updates the self-hosted plugin and asks you to start a fresh conversation. Supported coding agents like Codex and Claude Code do not depend on an official marketplace review.
How do I enable Email (Alpha)?
In the Dashboard, open an ICP Profile, choose Edit, select an Email policy, confirm the alpha notice, and save. Agents cannot enable Email through MCP. See the Email Outreach guide for contact readiness and campaigns.
What about the local email verifier?
It is an optional technical signal, not a gate. LeadCue uses direct public ownership evidence first and may use the bundled verifier for inferred or uncertain addresses. If local SMTP is unavailable, research and qualified-lead saving continue; the technical result remains available in the email details.
What does Claude Code require?
See the current compatibility row in the Developer reference. If the live client requirements differ, follow the client’s current setup guidance.
Will LeadCue continue if LinkedIn shows a restriction?
No. LinkedIn work stops, and control returns to you. LeadCue does not solve or bypass platform challenges.

Why is my sender not ready after DNS looks correct?
DNS proves the records exist. LeadCue also needs a recent recipient-side check that SPF, DKIM, and DMARC passed on a real message and that the signing domain matches the sending domain. Inbound forwarding is not a connected sending mailbox.
